Story Behind the Wine
A commitment to service has been a core ethos for Kevin and Kris. They have lived the full spectrum of military service: children of military service members, military spouses; and a combined four decades of active military service.
The adventure began as young Army lieutenants. Living in Europe for almost 15 years revealed to them the special place that wine had in the richer enjoyment of delicious food, good company, and beautiful spaces. Much time deployed to faraway places, bivouacked under the stars, made the dream manifest into a reality. This happened first by making small-batch wine at home, and then being an Assistant Winemaker for an award- winning local winery. These experiences emphasized the importance of both the art and science that go into the making of every bottle of wine and ultimately enabled them to continue their journey of service in creating a lovely wine that can be shared with friends in a beautiful space.
